Is it just me, or does this Prada Canvas Print Tote look a tad dingy? Don’t get me wrong, I love the intricately detailed pattern, the shape, the size and the fine quality of the materials, but it just seems as though there is a sort of used feel to this purse. You know, that look of something sitting around in your great aunt’s closet for the past fifty years and she’s just now decided to take it out and give it to you. I don’t know, it could just be me, but if I’m going to snag me a Prada purse, I sure as heck want it looking and feeling as new as possible! I guess I’ll just have to pass on this one.

I was pretty surprised to find this Natural Canvas Crystal Cluster Large Doctor Bag bearing the Prada name. Don’t get me wrong – I actually like the purse quite a bit, but when I think of Prada, I think of luxury, and this bag looks almost utilitarian with its neutral canvas. So they blinged it up with that crystal cluster on top? Some might think it’s awkward, but I kind of love it.

In Milan in September, the Prada runway show was a buzz with Miuccia filling the runway with silk-printed tunics, cropped flared trousers, and nymph and fairy prints. The backdrop looked as if it was from a girls imagination of doodles and drawings while daydreaming. Miuccia’s focus was “about trying to find a new creativity.” The fairy print is the iconic print for the Spring season and is seen on their handbags, clothing, and even their shoe boxes.
